Quite the opposite. Our freeze-drying method is exactly the same as cooking a fresh meal and putting it in the freezer. Except our freezer is also a vacuum chamber and all the ice gradually disappears leaving the nutrients and flavours ready to enjoy just by adding back the water.

Freeze-drying is widely regarded as the best 'ambient' food preserving method possible. By removing all the 'water activity' and packing with an oxygen absorber (which leaves mostly nitrogen in the packet), microbial activity is completely halted. Our packaging is gas-tight and light proof meaning the food is perfectly preserved for many years.

To start, open up your packet and make sure the base is fully wide to give the pack the best stability. Add water to just under half way up the pack Give a good stir to make sure everything is in contact with water. Close up the pack seal and leave for 8-10 minutes. Give another stir and if the meal looks a little dry, easy, add another splash of water and stir.
